HOW TO PREPARE

Intention is the best place to start with any healing work. Please take a moment and consider the intention that you’d like to set for your home or business clearing. As much as possible, try to base this intention on compassion for yourself and others. Ask yourself what energetic patterns you would like to shift. How do you hope things will be/feel different after this work is done? Keep in mind that the clearing addresses not only the physical home and the land it rests on, but also the home’s relationship to the immediate and greater surrounding community.

There is no need to deep-clean a home before a clearing, but it is helpful to take a moment to tidy up. This creates an intention of clarity and flow and allows you to meet Spirit with your own efforts and energy. It is not necessary, nor recommended, to move furniture away from walls, but it is helpful, whenever possible, to lessen physical blocks that make it difficult to move around a room.

You (and your loved ones) are welcome to take part in any or all of this clearing work. Please note that a typical home clearing lasts about 3 hours, but can go longer depending on the size of the home and its particular needs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On the day of your house clearing, we will start by reviewing your intentions for the clearing work, and I will answer any questions you might have. After this, a tour of your home and yard would be greatly appreciated, as this will help me establish the path I will take as I move through your house and will give me a chance to detect any energetic anomalies, should they exist.

Once we’ve completed the tour, I will set up my supplies and begin the clearing work. For the start of the clearing, I will be seated for roughly 20 minutes. During this time, I will be calling in the helping spirits who have worked with me for numerous years. After this, the actual clearing work will begin.

If your home or business has more than one story, I will start at the easternmost point of the top floor. From there, I will move in a clockwise direction, moving along the walls of each room until I make a complete circle on that floor. This pattern will be repeated on each consecutive floor.

During this time, I will be drumming and singing Sanskrit mantras that are connected to specific guides who will be providing the clearing work, as well as the energetic reset for your home. While this is happening, I will also be receiving information about your home in the form of sensations and images, which I will share at the end of the cleansing process.

Just as every home can be different, so can every room—depending on who has spent the most time there and what has transpired within. When energy is heavy or thick, I literally sense it in the weight of my drum, which can suddenly feel like it’s been loaded with wet sand. When this happens, I will drum until the heaviness is released and my drum becomes light again.

Once the last floor is cleared, I will move outside and drum around the perimeter of the home. Please note that I do understand that we live in a world that doesn’t have a great deal of experience with these sorts of ceremonies, and I am sensitive to the relationship we have with our neighbors and the fact that this type of work may feel unfamiliar and perhaps even strange to them. If you are uncomfortable with me drumming around the outside of your home, I can do this part of the clearing in silence. It is also possible for land clearing to be done from inside the home, in the same way that both clearing and healing work can be done from a distance. Please let me know your preference.

At the end of the session, I will share all of the information that I received during the healing/clearing work. I will also be happy to answer any questions that you have. If, for some reason, you can’t be physically present for the clearing, I will record this information and send it to you within 48 hours.
